New good quality drive in nipples are used to replace the old 1/4" flush ball spring oilers as fitted to older myford lathes - simply remove the old ball spring oiler and tap the new drive in nipple into the existing 1/4" hole, the nipple has special serrations around its diameter to grip the hole.
